We sell all the Electronic Enclosures for the National Optronics machines to include Horizon 3, 6E, 6ES, 7E, 7EX and 2G. When rebuilding the Electronic Enclosures, they are rebuilt to the most recent specifications of the manufacturer. This includes replacing disc drives, cooling fans and ensure the correct hardware is installed. All this time and attention to the “little things” makes for a much more reliable Electronic Enclosure for our customers.

As floppy disk drive technology becomes obsolete, sourcing replacement drives and disks has

become difficult and costly. Updating electronic enclosures to the newer USB software support will

allow you to manage your machine software more efficiently, keeping up with the most current mode

of software management.

MH Optical Services now offers USB upgrades from the obsolete floppy disk drive software support

for most 7E Card Cages and 2G Black Boxes.

Let us know if you are interested in having this upgrade performed when you send your electronic

enclosure to us for servicing.  We will then perform an evaluation to determine if your electronic

enclosure has the capability of being upgraded for USB software support.

When you are edging lenses on National Optronics machines, are you experiencing AR crazing or an occasional broken CR39? We may have a fix for you if you use the 3M metal blocks as there are special blocks available that can help you address these issues.
